Our Beliefs
Some of the basics of what we believe about key doctrines.
Concerning the Bible
We Believe in the plenary, verbal, Divine
inspiration of Scripture, consisting only
of the 39 Old Testament and
27 New Testament books, their
consequent inerrancy, and infallibility.
That the Bible, as the Word of God,
is the supreme and final authority in all
matters of faith and life. We believe that
the Word of God has been divinely
preserved in the King James Version of
the Bible, and that this is the perfect Word of God.

Concerning the Trinity
We believe in the triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Sovereign Creator, Sustainer and Ruler of the Universe. That we have one God manifested in these three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. The same as man is made of three distinct parts: body, soul, and spirit; our triune God is these three persons, united as one sovereign God.

Concerning Jesus Christ
We believe in the essential, absolute eternal Deity; and the real and proper, and sinless, humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ. That His birth was of the virgin Mary. We believe in His substitutionary, atoning death for all mankind, upon the cross. His resurrection from among the dead in the same body in which He was crucified, and the bodily return of this same Jesus to the earth in power and great glory to judge the earth and establish His Millennial Kingdom.

Concerning the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit enters, seals, and baptizes one; the moment he is born into the family of God through faith in Jesus Christ. That He endues, guides, teaches, sanctifies, empowers, and keeps the believer eternally secure. These are part of the abiding presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit in each regenerate life; He has said He will never leave us nor forsake us. We also believe that, according to Peter, the Baptism of the Spirit, spoken of by John and Jesus, is not a separate event; but is instead the entering in of the Spirit upon salvation, as mentioned above.

Concerning Our Salvation
We believe that salvation, the effect of regeneration by the Spirit and the Word, is not by works but by grace through faith in the shed blood of Christ. That salvation is a gift of God and can never be earned; an eternal gift that cannot be lost or taken away. In order to be saved, upon realizing one is a sinner, one must place their trust in Jesus Christ. This means looking to Christ alone for salvation; and not works of righteousness, or dead works as the are referred to in the book of Hebrews. We believe that man by nature is sinful and therefore, nothing he could ever do, will make him deserving of salvation, it is only by Jesus and His shed blood for our sins.

Concerning Eternity
We believe that both Heaven and Hell are real and literal places. That Heaven is the eternal destination of those who have believed and trusted on the Lord Jesus Christ. For those who have not trusted, they will first be in Hell, after this life is over; however after God's final judgment, before His great white throne, all those who did not believe on Jesus Christ will be cast into the Lake of Fire. Everyone will spend eternity in one of these two places and therefore everyone must choose whether or not they will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ; but they are not free to choose the consequences of this decision.

Concerning the End Times
We believe that the “blessed hope” of the Christian is the personal, pretribulational, premillennial, and imminent coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to gather the saints unto Him. That no man can know the day or the hour of His coming, but only that it will be soon. We believe that following this rapture, there will be a period of seven years, divided between the tribulation and great tribulation; where the wrath of God is poured out upon the earth. This period will end with the triumphant return of Christ to establish His millennial kingdom.
